Preparation

  • In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, breadcrumbs, green onions, egg, soy sauce, garlic powder, ginger powder, and season with salt and pepper to taste until just combined; avoid overmixing.
  • Form portions of about 1 ½ inches for the meatballs and place them on a lined baking sheet.

Cooking

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake the meatballs for about 20 minutes, or until cooked through and golden brown.
  • While the meatballs are baking, cook rice according to package instructions.
  • Heat the homemade teriyaki sauce in a small pan, then add the cooked meatballs to coat them well over low heat for about 2-3 minutes.
