  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened Ensure it’s at room temperature for easy blending.

Glaze and Garnish Ingredients

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt, then set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the egg and vanilla extract to the creamed mixture and mix until combined.
  • Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined.

Cheesecake Filling

  • In another bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add pink food coloring if desired.

Assembly

  • Using a cookie scoop, drop a portion of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • Make an indentation in the center of each dough ball and fill it with strawberry jam and cheesecake filling.
  • Top with a bit more cookie dough to cover them if desired.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until the edges are light golden brown.

Decorating
