Preparation

  • In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and 1 1/2 cups sugar until smooth and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Beat in the egg and vanilla until well combined, scraping the sides of the bowl.

  • Chill the dough in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
