Ingredients
  

Dough Ingredients

  • 1 tube Pillsbury Classic Pizza Dough or 14 ounces homemade dough; homemade offers better flavor.
  • 1 egg white Egg white For a golden, crispy crust.

Cheese Blend

  • 12 pieces Babybel Mozzarella Cheese Wheels or 3 sticks string cheese; Babybel adds creaminess.
  • 8 ounces cream cheese Ensure softened for easy mixing.
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese Adds richness and depth.
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese Preferably whole milk mozzarella for melting.
  • 1/2 cup sour cream For extra creaminess.

Seasoning and Toppings

  • 1 tablespoon Parmesan Bread Dip Seasoning or Italian Seasoning.
  • 1 pinch salt Enhances flavor.
  • 1 cup pizza sauce Your favorite brand for the best flavor.
  • 1 cup mini pepperoni Or your favorite pizza toppings.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Unroll the pizza dough and cut it into 12 squares.
  • Brush egg white over the dough.
  • Set one Mini Babybel Mozzarella Cheese in the center of each square of dough.
  • Pull the dough up over the cheese and pinch together the seams.
  • Turn them over so the seam side is down.
  • Brush the tops of each crust with egg white and sprinkle on seasoning.
  • Butter the skillet and arrange the cheese-filled pizza dough rounds around the perimeter.

Mixing and Layering

  • Spread 1/3 cup pizza sauce in the middle of the skillet.
  • Blend cream cheese, 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese, sour cream, and salt until smooth.
  • Spread half of this mixture over the pizza sauce in the pan.
  • Top with 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese and half of the mini pepperoni.
  • Layer on another 1/3 cup pizza sauce, then the remaining cheese dip, and another 1/3 cup of pizza sauce.
  • Finish with another 3/4 cup mozzarella cheese and the remaining pepperoni.

Baking

  • Bake the dip for 28-30 minutes until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden brown.
  • Serve while hot.

Notes

Leftovers last 3 days in the fridge. Reheat in the oven for best results. You can prep a day in advance and bake the next day.
