  • 1 cup milk Use cow's milk or a milk alternative.
  • 1/2 cup sugar Adjust based on sweetness preference; honey or agave can be used.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Use quality vanilla extract for best flavor.
  • 2 cups ice For a frosty texture; can freeze orange juice for ice cubes.

Preparation

  • In your blender, combine 1 cup of orange juice, 1 cup of milk, 1/2 cup of sugar, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Blend on medium speed for about 30 seconds until well combined.
  • Add 2 cups of ice and blend on high speed for another 30-60 seconds until creamy and perfectly smooth.
  • Pour the drink into chilled glasses and garnish with a slice of orange. Enjoy the refreshing taste!

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh; can store in refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 24 hours. Over-blending can create a watery consistency.
