Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups (480ml) milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 2 tbsp white chocolate chips or chopped white chocolate
  • 1 tsp high-quality matcha powder
  • 2 tsp honey or sugar (optional, for sweetness)
  • Whipped cream (optional, for topping)
  • Matcha powder or white chocolate shavings (optional, for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until warm but not boiling.
    Add the white chocolate chips or chopped white chocolate to the warm milk. Stir until completely melted and smooth.
    In a small bowl, whisk the matcha powder with 2-3 tbsp of hot water until it forms a smooth paste.
    Add the matcha paste to the milk mixture and whisk until fully combined.
    Sweeten with honey or sugar if desired, adjusting to taste.
    Pour the hot cocoa into mugs and top with whipped cream, a sprinkle of matcha powder, or white chocolate shavings if desired.
    Serve immediately and enjoy!

  • For a dairy-free version, use almond milk, oat milk, or coconut milk.
