Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 pieces ripe mangoes, peeled and chopped The sweeter, the better!
  • 1 cup heavy cream Chilled for best whipping results.
  • 1/2 cup sugar Adjust according to desired sweetness.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Pure extract is best.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Freshly squeezed for zesty brightness.
  • 1 packet gelatin Optional, for a firmer texture; Knox is a reliable brand.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Start by placing the chopped mangoes in a blender until smooth.
  • If using gelatin, dissolve it in warm water and blend it into the mango puree.

Whipping Cream

  • In a separate bowl, add heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract.
  • Whip until soft peaks form, about 3 to 5 minutes. Be careful not to over-whip.

Combine Mixtures

  • Gently fold the mango puree into the whipped cream using a spatula.

Add Lemon Juice

  • Drizzle in the lemon juice and give it one last gentle mix.

Chill

  • Spoon the mixture into serving glasses and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Can freeze for up to a month.
