  • 1 cup broccoli florets Fresh is best, but frozen works too.

  • 1 cup carrots, sliced Baby carrots can be used, just chop them.
  • 1/4 cup honey Opt for raw or local honey for better flavor.
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce Low-sodium soy sauce is a great alternative.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic offers the best taste.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil Extra virgin olive oil adds richness.
  • to taste salt and pepper Use kosher salt for seasoning.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
  • On a large sheet pan, arrange the sausage links, broccoli florets, sliced bell peppers, and sliced carrots.
  • Pour the honey garlic mixture over the sausage and vegetables, then toss to ensure everything is coated evenly.

Cooking

  • Slide the pan into the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway through for even cooking. Look for golden-brown sausages and tender veggies.
  • Plate the dish and enjoy the sweet and savory flavors.

Notes

Let the sausages sit at room temperature for a few minutes before cooking for even cooking. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days. Can be reheated in the oven or microwave.
