  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Freshly squeezed for best flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce Optional for added spice.

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth (approx. 2-3 minutes).
  • Stir in the shredded sharp cheddar cheese, crab meat, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, and hot sauce.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
  • Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes or until hot and bubbly with a lightly browned top.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

Best served warm with crackers, toasted baguette slices, or fresh veggie sticks. You can prepare the dip a day in advance.
