  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Philadelphia is recommended for a creamy texture.
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract Opt for pure vanilla extract for best flavor.
  • 2.5 cups powdered sugar Always sifted for smooth frosting.

For Toppings

  • 2.5 cups sliced strawberries Choose ripe, firm ones for sweetness.
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries Ensure they're plump and juicy.
  • 8 oz whipped topping from a can Use a trusted brand for fluffy finish.

Preparation

  • Allow the refrigerated cookie dough to sit at room temperature for about 1 hour while you preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Spray a baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray and then press the cookie dough evenly across the sheet to form a solid base.
  • Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes until the edges are light golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and allow the cookie base to cool completely before frosting.
  • In a bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, unsalted butter, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
  • Use a spatula to evenly spread the frosting over the cooled cookie crust, ensuring all edges are covered.
  • Create a beautiful pattern on top of the frosting with the sliced strawberries around the edges and blueberries in the center.
  • Just before serving, decorate with whipped topping for extra flair. Slice and serve immediately.

Notes

For a flavor boost, add lemon zest to the frosting. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days but best enjoyed fresh.
