Ingredients
  

  • 1 bagel, sliced in half
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tbsp butter or cooking spray
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: shredded cheese, avocado, hot sauce, or herbs

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Bagel: Slice the bagel in half and use a small round cutter or knife to remove a hole from the center of each half.
    Cook the Bagel: Heat a skillet over medium heat and add butter or cooking spray. Place the bagel halves in the skillet, cut side down.
    Add the Eggs: Crack an egg into each bagel hole. Season with salt and pepper.
    Cook Until Set: Cover the skillet with a lid and cook for 3-5 minutes, or until the egg whites are set and the yolks are cooked to your desired doneness.
    Add Toppings: If using cheese, sprinkle it on top during the last minute of cooking to melt.
    Serve: Remove from the skillet, add optional toppings, and serve immediately.
