- 1 cup self-rising flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup canned fruit with syrup (peach, pineapple, or fruit cocktail work well)

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8x8-inch baking dish.
In a large mixing bowl, combine self-rising flour, sugar, and canned fruit (with syrup). Mix until just combined; the batter will be slightly lumpy.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
