  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Use fresh minced garlic for a sharper flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon paprika Smoked paprika is preferable.
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes Optional, adjust to your heat tolerance.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, garlic powder, paprika, and red pepper flakes until thoroughly combined.
  • Rub the chicken thighs with olive oil, coating them fully, and season generously with salt and pepper.
  • Pour the honey mixture over the chicken, ensuring they are well-coated. Let them marinate for up to 2 hours in the refrigerator if desired.

Cooking

  • Place the chicken thighs in a baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

Notes
