  • 10.5 oz Cream of Chicken Soup Consider low or no sodium versions to keep it healthier.
  • 3 cloves Garlic Freshly minced for best flavor.
  • ¾ cup Chicken Broth Low-sodium options are ideal.
  • 1 packet Good Seasons Dry Italian Salad Dressing Mix Or homemade Italian seasoning for a personal touch.
  • 16 oz Angel Hair Pasta Can switch to penne or gluten-free pasta.
  • Chopped Fresh Parsley To taste, adds freshness and color.
  • Cracked Pepper To taste, for an extra flavor boost.
  • Grated Parmesan Cheese Optional, but elevates the dish!

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Set your crock pot to low. Season both sides of the chicken breasts (or thighs) with salt and pepper.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, heat vegetable oil. Add the chicken and sear for about 2-3 minutes per side until browned.
  • In a medium bowl, mix cream cheese, butter, cream of chicken soup, minced garlic, and chicken broth until smooth. Stir in one packet of Good Seasons dressing mix until combined.
  • Place the seared chicken in the crock pot and pour the creamy mixture on top.

Cooking

  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until chicken is done when the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  • In the final 30 minutes, prepare angel hair pasta according to package instructions. Drain and keep warm.

Serving

  • Once the chicken is tender, shred it with two forks. Serve over angel hair pasta and garnish with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
