Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 2 bunches radishes Look for shiny, firm radishes without blemishes—organic is always a great option!
  • 2 teaspoons oil (avocado or olive oil) Avocado oil has a higher smoke point, but olive oil brings its own savory charm.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic elevates the flavor. Jarred minced garlic can work too, just use less.
  • 1 pinch salt, to taste Use sea salt or pink Himalayan salt for a burst of flavor.
  • to taste Dried oregano Fresh herbs like thyme and rosemary are great substitutions if you have them.
  • to taste Feta or yogurt sauce for serving Enhances the radishes and makes for beautiful presentation.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Start by removing the stems and leaves from the radishes. Discard or save for salad. Trim the ends and cut each radish in half lengthwise for even cooking.
  • Toss the halved radishes in a bowl with the oil, salt, garlic, and oregano, ensuring even coating.

Cooking

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes. Arrange the radishes in a single layer in the air fryer basket and air fry for 10 to 12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • When done, plate your radishes and sprinkle with feta or serve with yogurt sauce for dipping.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for about 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer to regain crunch. Consider preparing radishes in advance and storing until ready to cook. Avoid overcrowding in the air fryer for best results.
