  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese Use full-fat for ultimate creaminess.
  • 1 cup chicken broth Low-sodium store-bought or homemade works well.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Extra virgin olive oil is preferred.
  • to taste salt and pepper Freshly ground salt and pepper are best.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic adds aromatic warmth.
  • for garnish Fresh parsley Optional, adds color.

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a large skillet, add 2 tablespoons of olive oil and heat over medium until the surface begins to shimmer.
  • Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • Place the seasoned chops in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown. Ensure the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
  • Transfer the cooked pork chops to a plate and cover with foil to keep warm.
  • In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and add the cream cheese. Stir over medium heat until the cream cheese melts and the sauce becomes smooth. Adjust seasoning if needed.
  • Return the pork chops to the skillet, coating them in the creamy sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  • Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

Let the pork chops rest a few minutes before serving to lock in juices. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on the stovetop.
