  • In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy—about 2-3 minutes on medium speed.
  • Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined for another minute.
  • In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream to stiff peaks, which should take around 3-5 minutes at medium-high speed.
  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully incorporated, taking about 1-2 minutes.
  • Use the filling immediately or store in the fridge until ready to use.

Notes

Store the filling in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. You can prepare this filling a day in advance. If too runny, whip more cream and fold in to thicken.
