  • 12 oz White Chocolate Look for high-quality chocolate for the best flavor.

Preparation

  • Crumble the Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes into a large mixing bowl. Set aside any excess sprinkles for later.
  • Add the softened cream cheese to the crumbled cakes and mix until combined. Aim for a thick, play-dough-like consistency.
  • Roll the mixture into truffle-sized balls, about 1-inch in diameter, and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. You should get around 24 truffles.
  • Refrigerate the formed balls for about 30 minutes to firm up.
  • Melt the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 20-second increments until smooth.
  • Dip each truffle in the melted chocolate using a fork and allow excess chocolate to drip back into the bowl.
  • Place back on the baking sheet while the chocolate is still wet and immediately sprinkle with festive sprinkles.
  • Let the chocolate set at room temperature for about 30 minutes before serving, or refrigerate for 10 minutes for a quicker set.

Notes

Store truffles in an airtight container. They can sit at room temperature for about 2 days or 1 week in the refrigerator. Can freeze for up to 3 months.
