  • 1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar For the perfect sweetness.
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder Use high-quality cocoa for the best chocolate flavor.
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream, divided Ensure it’s cold for perfect whipping.
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract A splash of flavor.
  • 1 pinch kosher salt To balance sweetness.

Preparation

  • In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a whisk attachment, add your softened cream cheese, confectioners’ sugar, and cocoa powder. Start mixing on low speed, gradually increasing to medium, mixing for about 3-5 minutes until fully combined.
  • With the mixer turned off, add in 1/2 cup of your heavy cream. Switch your mixer back on to medium speed, mixing for about 30 seconds until smooth.
  • Repeat this for the remaining heavy cream, adding in 1/2 cup at a time, mixing for about 30 seconds until smooth each time.
  • Once all the heavy cream is combined, switch the mixer back to medium speed and mix until stiff peaks form.
  • Finally, add in a splash of vanilla extract and a pinch of salt, being careful not to overmix.

Serving

Notes

Chill your mixing bowl and whisk attachment in the freezer for about 10-15 minutes before whipping for the best results. This Chocolate Whipped Cream can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
