Ingredients
  

  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 4 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cook Noodles: Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Prepare Ricotta Mixture: In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, 1 cup mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, salt,and pepper until well combined.
  • Layer Ingredients: Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce at the bottom of a baking dish. Place a layer of noodles over it, then spread some ricotta mixture, add a layer of spinach, then cover with sauce. Repeat layers until you’ve used up the ingredients, finishing with a layer of sauce.
  • Top with Cheese: Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella on top.
  • Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until bubbly and golden.
  • Serve: Let the lasagna cool for 10 minutes, then slice, garnish with basil, and serve.
