  • 1 cup heavy cream Use high quality heavy cream for best results.
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar Adjust to taste for sweetness.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Use pure vanilla extract for richer flavor.

Preparation

  • Chill your mixing bowl and whisk in the refrigerator for about 10 to 15 minutes.
  • In your chilled mixing bowl, pour in 1 cup of heavy cream.
  • Begin whipping the cream at medium speed for 2-3 minutes until it starts to thicken.
  • Gradually add 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
  • Continue whisking until soft peaks form, about another 2-3 minutes.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Best enjoyed fresh.
