Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 7 to 9 large large carrots Choose firm, bright orange carrots for the best flavor and sweetness.
  • 1/4 pineapple pineapple, flesh only (about 1 cup) Select a ripe pineapple that gives slightly when pressed.
  • 1 inch knob of ginger, peeled Look for fresh ginger; it should be firm and free of blemishes.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Wash the Carrots: Scrub and rinse the carrots thoroughly under running water. Trim off the tops if necessary.
  • Prepare the Pineapple: Slice off the skin of the pineapple and remove the core. Dice the fruit into manageable chunks.
  • Peel the Ginger: Use a vegetable peeler to remove the skin from the ginger and slice it into smaller pieces.

Juicing

  • Juicing Time: If using a juicer, feed the ingredients through one by one. If using a blender, blend until smooth and then strain through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth.

Serving

  • Serve and Store: Pour the juice into a glass, stir, and enjoy immediately. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 48 hours.

Notes

For a frothy texture, blend the ingredients instead of juicing. Always use fresh ingredients for the best taste.
