Ingredients
  

Tea Base and Flavoring

  • 6 bags black tea bags Use Lipton for its robust flavor.
  • 6 cups water Filtered or spring water is best for the cleanest taste.
  • 1 cup blueberry simple syrup Store-bought or homemade.
  • 1 lemon Juice of about 4 tablespoons; fresh is recommended.
  • Mint leaves Optional for garnish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a saucepan, bring 6 cups of water to a rolling boil over medium-high heat.
  • Remove the saucepan from heat and add the 6 black tea bags. Allow to steep for about 5 minutes.
  • Gently remove the tea bags and pour the brewed tea into a large pitcher.
  • Stir in 1 cup of blueberry syrup and juice from 1 lemon until well combined. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
  • Refrigerate your blueberry iced tea until it’s chilled, preferably for at least 2 hours.
  • Serve over ice with slices of lemon and a sprig of mint leaves.

Notes

Store in the fridge for up to a week. You can make blueberry syrup in advance to save time. For a fun twist, serve in mason jars with colorful straws.
