Ingredients
  

Main ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey Look for 93% lean for a good balance of moisture and flavor.
  • 1 small onion, diced finely I recommend yellow or sweet onions for a milder taste.
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated Use fresh-grated for the best flavor.
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise Adds moisture; feel free to substitute with Greek yogurt for a lighter version.
  • 1 tsp hot sauce Optional—adds a subtle kick!
  • 1 clove garlic, minced A must for that flavorful punch.
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme Or 1 tsp fresh, chopped; fresh herbs really elevate the flavor.
  • 1/2 tsp dried sage Or 1 tsp fresh, chopped.
  • 1/2 tsp dried rosemary Or 1 tsp fresh, chopped; I love using my garden herbs!
  • 1/2 tsp salt Add more to taste, but start here!
  • 1/2 tsp pepper Freshly ground is best for maximum flavor.
  • 1 tsp parsley, chopped For garnish and added brightness.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, gently combine all ingredients. Don’t over-mix; just blend until incorporated.
  • If the mixture is quite wet, refrigerate it for 30 minutes to make it easier to handle while rolling.

Cooking

  • Roll the turkey mixture into balls about 1 1/4 inches in diameter, keeping them uniform for even cooking.
  • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil and preheat it to 400°F.
  • Place meatballs in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them. Cook in batches if necessary.
  • Air fry for 10 minutes, turning halfway through to ensure even crispiness. Ensure the center reaches 165°F before serving.
  • Garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

These meatballs can be customized with different spices. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
