Spice Rub Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Freshly minced garlic works too for a more robust flavor.

Preparation

  • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and preheat it to 400°F (200°C).
  • Carefully remove the silver membrane from the pork tenderloin.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, kosher salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  • Massage the spice mixture evenly into the pork tenderloin.

Cooking

  • Place the seasoned pork tenderloin in the air fryer basket and air fry for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Check for an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) for perfect doneness.
  • Allow the pork tenderloin to rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Notes

For best results, don’t skip the resting time; it enhances tenderness. Consider seasoning the pork tenderloin the night before and refrigerating it to maximize flavor.
