Ingredients
  

  • 1 Lb (450g) boneless, skinless chicken breast or thighs, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Wooden or metal skewers (if using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes)
  • Optional: Bell peppers, onions, or zucchini (cut into chunks for added veggies)

Instructions
 

  • Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, combine olive oil, soy sauce, honey, garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, and salt. Add the chicken pieces and toss to coat. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes (or up to 2 hours in the fridge).
    Prepare Skewers: Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto skewers, alternating with optional vegetables if desired.
    Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
    Cook Skewers: Place the skewers in the air fryer basket in a single layer (cook in batches if needed). Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
    Serve: Remove from the air fryer and let rest for 2-3 minutes. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce or side dishes.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lemon juice or a sprinkle of fresh herbs like parsley or cilantro before serving.
  • If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning.
  • Adjust cooking time based on the size of your chicken pieces and the model of your air fryer.
