  • 2 tsp cinnamon Pumpkin spice can be substituted for a twist.
  • ¼ tsp salt Enhances the flavors.

Preparation

  • Core the apples and cut them into 1/2-inch slices for uniform cooking.
  • In a large bowl, mix the maple syrup, oil, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
  • Toss the apple slices in the syrup mixture until thoroughly coated.
  • Spread the apple slices evenly in the air fryer basket, ensuring space between them for proper air circulation.

Cooking

  • Set the air fryer to 400°F and cook for about 10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until apples are tender and edges are slightly crisp.

Serving

  • Serve warm with optional toppings like ice cream or whipped cream.

Notes

Keep an eye on the apple slices during the last few minutes for desired texture. If a crispier texture is preferred, add an extra minute.
