Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish (9x13 inches) lightly with butter or cooking spray.
Boil sweet potatoes in a pot until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and let cool slightly.
Mash the sweet potatoes until smooth, then add sugar, milk, eggs, vanilla, salt, and melted butter. Mix until well combined and smooth.
Spread the sweet potato mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
In a separate bowl, prepare the topping by combining brown sugar, flour, melted butter, and pecans. Stir until the mixture resembles a crumble.
Sprinkle the topping evenly over the sweet potato mixture.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and slightly crispy.
Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For a sweeter topping, replace pecans with mini marshmallows.
