- 4 salmon fillets
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- ½ cup heavy cream
- ¼ cup chicken broth
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Prepare the Salmon: Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. Rub each fillet with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.Sear the Salmon: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the salmon fillets and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Stir in the heavy cream, chicken broth, and lemon juice. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.Combine and Serve: Return the salmon to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the fillets. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
