Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Chicken: Season chicken breasts generously with salt, pepper, and dried thyme.
  • Sear: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  • Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic and cook until fragrant. Stir in chicken broth, heavy cream, and Parmesan. Simmer until thickened, about 5 minutes.
  • Combine: Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over. Cover and cook for another 10 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked.
  • Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot with your choice of sides.

Notes

  • Use half-and-half instead of heavy cream for a lighter option.
  • Add a splash of white wine for extra depth of flavor.
