  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • Fresh chives for garnish Optional

Instructions

  • Caramelize the onions:

In a mixing bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, and cream cheese. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  • Flavor the dip:
Add the cooled caramelized onions, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, and black pepper to the creamy mixture. Stir until well combined.
  • Chill:
Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to let the flavors meld together.
