Tacos generously garnished with a mixture of minced meat + house fries, all topped with an absolutely irresistible cheese sauce! Enough to compose a perfect meal tray to enjoy in front of a good movie.

Ingredients of this sandwich (tacos)

For the fries:

  • 3 potatoes
  • 1 tbsp. tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt

For the meat:

  • 200 gr of ground beef
  • 1 onion
  • 1 drizzle of olive oil
  • Salt
  • of pepper

For the cheese sauce:

  • 25 cl of cream
  • 50 gr of Emmental
  • 100 gr cheddar
  • Pepper (optional)
  • 4 large wheat tortillas
  • 4 tbsp. barbecue sauce (or other)

Equipment:

  • 1 Panini machine (optional)
  • 1 Blender plunging

Recipe Preparation

1.

Prepare the fries: Peel and cut the potatoes into French fries, mix them with olive oil and salt and place them on a baking sheet covered with baking paper in the oven for 20 min at 220 ° C.

Prepare the meat: Brown a chopped onion in olive oil, when it is translucent, add the minced meat, salt and pepper. Stir from time to time until the end of cooking.

Prepare the cheese sauce: Boil the cream in a saucepan, add the Emmental, stir until it is melted. Add the coarsely cut cheddar and pepper. Thicken the sauce. Mixer.

4.

Assembly: Arrange the two tortillas one slightly on top of the other. Spread the barbecue sauce (or other on top, avoiding the edges). Place half of the fries in the center.

5.

Add half of the cheese sauce on top then add half of the minced meat. Center the food (forming a rectangle) to make folding easier.

6.

Fold the edges one after the other starting with the top edge, then the one towards you, then those of the sides, always trying to pack the food inside.

7.

Flip the tacos and cook in a panini maker for 3 minutes (or in a skillet 3 minutes on each side, starting with the side of the fold to seal it).

8.

Do the same with the second. It’s ready!

Tips and Tricks:

You can make smaller portions using a single patty. You just have to distribute the ingredients in the 4 and fold the edges towards the center.
