Kofte the best and delicious Turkish recipe

A while yes, I think the Turkish recipe of the famous meatballs called “Kofte” is a bit classic. Limit I want to say, who does not already know her?
But suddenly, I think back to the day when I was in charge of the kitchen and when I was looking for this recipe in French at my friend Google. Well, imagine that I had a hard time finding it, I had the impression that the ones available were all different from each other. So, yes, I called my Turkish Mom, again. Fortunately, she is there to feed this section of the blog …

So she gave me the real Turkish recipe for the original kofte, the ones I have been eating for over 25 years at her table. In short, let’s skip the trivia of my insanely interesting personal life and learn about this wonderful recipe which, in my opinion, is to be done and redone for the pleasure of ALL!

Ingredients:

  •  400/500 grs of minced meat containing a minimum of fat. (not too dry, not too oily)
  • 1 onion
  •  1 egg
  •  2 tbsp. to s. stale bread crumbs
  •  1 bunch of fresh parsley
  •   Salt, pepper, cumin (other spices of your choice)
  •  A little Sunflower oil

Preparation of Turkish recipe (kofte)

1. 

Cut the onion in as little as possible then slice the parsley very fine too

2. 

Mix all the ingredients in a large enough container.

 Let stand in the fridge for 30 minutes to 1 hour

4. 

With clean hands (the detail which is of its importance) , take small pieces of the preparation then make them take an oval and flat shape.

5. 

Pour a little sunflower oil in a frying pan then when it is hot, position the raw kofte on the pan (watch out for the oil jets)

6.

 Wait until the first side of the kofte is well cooked then turn them over

My mom takes them out when they’re cooked, then puts them in a dish with a paper towel at the bottom, so that it absorbs the unwanted oil from the kofte. Do as you feel ..!Here it is, with a good Turkish pilav, and a good fresh salad, it should have its little effect!
